SPECIAL THANKS TO AMANDA McCREATH FOR THE DESIGN OF THIS JCAN ANTHEM DESIGN
In the wake of the recent "war" between our Gov't and Gangs (basically created indirectly and directly by the Gov't), the world is quickly forgetting what Jamaica really is; whilst at the same time realizing the sad truth Jamaica has been hiding for quite some time now. But, this article is not political nor is it debating whether the J'can Gov't is capable of handling this situation; rather it is to simply remind the world of what they fell in love with: the care-free, island paradise that one would think only God dreams of. So here's a few pics that should go a long way in reminding the public what they aren't seeing on BBC, CNN, etc.
With World Cup 2010 quickly approaching, we fans are now reverting back to what we know as World Cup Fever; and we here at MVLA are no different! Check out this ad Nike made:

The collab. album, from veterans Nas and Damian Jr. Gong Marley himself, was released on 4/20 2010, and I am currently enjoying it!
They combine reggae and rap sensually expressing what the album states: they are 'Distant Relatives'. Within this soulful mixture, you can basically feel the impact of the Motherland; doing this by using samples and further collabs from African artistes (such as K'naan) and African melodies. Words cannot truly express the monument of music created by these two near-legendary artistes. So let them explain it:
Here are some of my choice songs from the album, including, the music video of their first single, As We Enter:
